After an outstanding career that has taken her along many countries around the globe and to almost all the most important Colombian concert halls, on her second disco graphic incursion the guitarist Irene Gómez in the Latin American repertoire, with a slight digression towards the work of the Japanese Yukihiro Yocoh, amen of a sensibility, for which she is renown by her many followers of her recitals, whereby anyone can easily notice an incredible technique and capacity of musical reflection that are simply extraordinary. In the version of each work we can detect an interpretative strength founded on the terseness, in the abundance of tinges, in a maturity that translates in a chromatic richness and, overall, in the impetus of the feeling. Irene Gómez extracts from each fragment the vigor, and at the same time, the subtlety, that are the common denominator of a repertoire that has been selected from good taste. It is important to highlight here the phrasing of this Colombian guitarist, who makes out of each and every piece a true delicacy for the listener. In this recording, we find some rarely known works that, interpreted by such a great artist, become a truly rich expressive universe of harmonious textures where an exquisite refinement becomes patent.
